Aloha! I'm Melissa
I’m Oahu based wedding officiant specializing in intimate beach elopements. I am obsessed with sunshine, palm trees, and all those tropical vibes! My favorite days are always spent on the water whether it’s paddle boarding, snorkeling, or just hanging out in my donut floatie. It’s safe to say I’m living the dream with my husband, son, and two cuddly kitties in Hawaii. I have a wanderlust spirit and spent three years before moving to Hawaii living abroad in England where I traveled endlessly with my boys.
When I’m not coordinating elopements, I can be found creating various forms of artwork. My Hawaii-inspired designs can be found in stores throughout the islands. I also created a line of destination wedding stationery inspired by these gorgeous islands, which is available to my elopement clients. But my most fun form of art utilizes chocolate! Pulling from my past experience as a pastry chef, I teach island-inspired chocolate decorating classes in Honolulu.
I’ve served the wedding industry for over 20 years between my experience as a pastry chef and wedding stationer. When the Hawaii wedding industry shut down in 2020, I felt called to start officiating elopements to help all the incredible couples who had to cancel their wedding plans. I fell in love with officiating because nothing beats being immersed in the feeling of love while surrounded by the best scenery in the world!
As a destination bride myself, I firmly believe that eloping is the best way to get married. When couples elope the focus shifts to their true desires which sets the tone for their union and allows them to focus on what is most important. My goal is to help couples create their dream elopement through an intimate exchange of their commitment to each other. I want to make it as easy and stress free as possible so couples can just focus on their love for one another and fully immerse themselves in the moment.
